Intro

In this series, Wong Hei's performance was spectacular. Wong Hei always seems to pull through for TVB especially in this series. Nothing to Declare is a series about Hoi Kwan Department in Hong Kong. Hoi Kwan is in charge of smuggling, sales of illegal products, and criminal investigation of smugglers. Wong Hei is an inspector of airports within this branch and he is good at it too. He lives with him mother every since his father left his mother before he was even born. Soon he is transferred to the criminal investigation of Hoi Kwan under Bobby.

What about the story

Bobby is very dedicated to his work and neglects his personal life. A while ago, Bobby was on a case and had to turn in his beeper. After the case, Bobby finds out that his fiancé was sick and died. After some misunderstanding between Bobby and Wong Hei, they become good friends. Helina is the attorney for Hoi Kwan. She was dating some one else when Wong Hei liked her. Later she breaks up with her boyfriend because of his personality and starts to date Wong Hei. Marianne sells copied videos and CDs. She meets Bobby. First Marianne misunderstands Bobby for being a pervert because he was trying to revive her from fainting. Later they start liking each other. Wong Hei and Helina decide to part. Wong Hei also is assigned to go undercover where not even Bobby or Helina know of it. One day Bobby sees Wong Hei with some bad people and Wong Hei was forced to shoot Bobby. However, Wong Hei shot Bobby in his shirt pocket where he had a ring case. Bobby was sent to the hospital. Everyone thinks Wong Hei is bad but Bobby realizes that Wong Hei tried to save his life. Soon the bad guys get captured. Helina makes up with Wong Hei. Bobby and Marianne get married.

Wong Hei

Wong Hei always gives his best in his performance. Although, I preferred Wong Hei to be a little funnier but he was serious in this series.

Bobby Yeung

Bobby was okay in this series. I am so used to seeing Bobby play a funny character that it was hard for me to accept this one. Although he was funny, it was only when Bobby was when Marianne.

Marianne Chan

Without Marianne, this series would have been a failure. Her character is so funny and portrays someone who everyone can relate to. Bobby and Marianne are very cute as a couple in this series.

Helina Tam

I haven't seen Helina in many series so it is hard to judge her performance. Her chemistry with Wong Hei was okay. Her performance was not that spectacular.

Overall the series was okay. It wasn't as funny as I thought it would be. Only positive comment about the series is Marianne's character.
